i appreciated the convenient location near the main streets. i found it easy to walk through the city without needing buses. the breakfast was complete with a wide choice of sweet and savory options (especially the pastries). gabriella at the front desk was wonderful, her recommendations were valuable.
the hotel bar was closed on certain days, unexpected for a four-star hotel. i found this a little inconvenient.

underwhelming stay with some issues

light switch locationrestaurant closure
The room i was given had a strange setup. two single beds were pushed against a wall, but they directly covered the light switches. this meant the lights would turn on or off whenever i moved in my sleep (it was annoying). also, i found the advertised restaurant was closed except for breakfast. I wish this had been clearer before my arrival. the overall experience was adequate, but these issues definitely detracted from it.

adequate stay with some issues

The hotel boasted amazing local artwork. This transformed the place into a destination.
The breakfast selection disappointed me. many items were missing, like cheese, yogurt, and bread, at the buffet. the staff told us to wait in the lobby. This happened while we were holding our plates full of food. this was the worst breakfast experience at a hotel i ever had.
